CTI's
School Age Programs provide safe, enjoyable, well supervised activities
for children ages 6 to 13 at a number of Greater Lowell schools.
Programs operate daily before and after school with full-time hours
available during summer months and school vacations. Site assignments
are based on the school the child attends. Currently there are eight
sites including the Bailey, Greenhalge, McAuliffe, Pawtucketville
Memorial and the Pyne Arts Schools in Lowell. Other sites include
a class at the James Houlares Early Learning Center, the Discovery
Group at the Lowell Boys and Girls Club and the Greenmount School
in Dracut. Transportation is available from most public schools.
Lunch is provided during full-day programs and snacks are served
each day.
CTI's
School Age Programs are places where self-esteem is nurtured, individuality
flourishes, and lifelong friendships are created. Our staff of dedicated
professionals provide a constructive, stimulating environment. Activities
include board games, arts and crafts, and sports. Staff also offer
assistance with homework and tutoring.
All
programs are licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care
(DEEC) and staff receive ongoing DEEC approved training and are
certified in CPR and First Aid. A sliding fee is available for eligible
families. For more information, call the School Age Program Administrator
at 978-821-2234 or e-mail jsalois@comteam.org
