Poverty," the Greater Lowell IDA Collaborative
(GLIDAC) is a collaborative of four community organizations.

Greater Lowell IDA Collaborative (GLIDAC)
consists of the following groups:

Community
Teamwork, Inc. (CTI) mission is to assist low-income
people to become self-sufficient, alleviate the effects
of poverty, and to assist low-income people to participate
in the decisions that affect their lives. CTI serves
as an advocate and catalyst for systemic change on issues
that affect low-income people, including education,
workforce training, housing, economic development, and
civic engagement. More…

The
Massachusetts Division of Casey Family Services (CFS)
works to recruit, train and support talented foster
parents and provide youth with stable, permanent connections.
CFS offers services and support to youth so they can
achieve their goals, and remains a resource as they
transition to adulthood. In Lowell, CFS leads a Family
Resource Program where staff and families work together
to promote individual, family and community well being.

Coalition for a Better Acre (CBA) is a membership based
community development corporation dedicated to resident
empowerment and sustainable community revitalization
for current and future residents of Lowell. CBA promotes
healthy, vibrant neighborhoods by developing resident
leaders, affordable housing and economic opportunities,
and by responding to community needs through collective

The
Caleb Group provides service coordination in 24 housing
communities in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut
and Maine. Service coordinators work with elderly, families
and disabled residents to increase their independence
by helping identify their needs and connecting them
with community resources to fulfill these needs as well
as build a sense of community.
