The
Division of Housing & Homeless Services is the combination
of numerous programs that help low and moderate income
families establish or maintain safe and permanent housing.
As
a member of the Mass Non-Profit Housing Association and
one of nine regional non-profit housing agencies in the
state, CTI offers rental assistance programs, homeless
prevention programs, transitional housing for domestic
violence victims, shelters for homeless families, homeownership
opportunities, housing advocacy and self-sufficiency initiatives
throughout 43 cities and towns in Massachusetts so that
families are able to live in safe and affordable housing.
With
funding from a number of sources including the Department
of Housing and Community Development, the
Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Department
of Transitional Assistance, and many other sources, the
Division offers a network of programs that link together
and offer stability and self-sufficiency. We administer
Rental Assistance Programs throughout 43 cities and towns
across the state and, through our Housing Consumer Education
Center, we provide expertise in the areas of homebuying,
fair housing, foreclosure prevention, home modification,
housing advocacy, information and referrals and much more.
The
Division of Housing and Homeless Services is led by Associate
Executive Director Ed
Cameron and his staff of almost 50 multi-lingual housing
specialist who provide these services in English, Spanish,
Khmer, Portuguese and Greek. For more information about
