Harsh
New England winters force many families to make difficult
decisions to stay warm. Many seniors do without necessary
medicines and drastically reduce the temperature in their
home in an attempt to stretch money.
Community
Teamwork's Energy Department offers a host of heating and
conservation programs including fuel assistance, weatherization,
burner repair and replacement, and several other programs
to help families stay safe and warm each winter. Explore
the links on this page to find out if you may be eligible
for some of these energy programs.
Also
within the Division of Property and Energy Services falls
our YouthBuild Program. This is targeted at young adults
between the ages of 17 - 24 who are out of work and out
of school. YouthBuild trainees learn the construction trade
through classroom and hands-on instruction while working
toward their GED.
