Who
we serve
This program is unique in that it assists not only low income
families and single parents, but also some moderate income
families who do not qualify for other types of childcare assistance
– yet still need some financial support with childcare.
Families led by foster parents and grandparents may qualify
for our program.
Family
eligibility requirements
The weekly gross income for each family is calculated in tandem
with a state-set sliding fee scale. The CPC will determine
the amount parents will contribute to their childcare costs.
Some at-risk families are exempt from certain state-set income
requirements.
Are
all childcare programs eligible?
Only centers and family childcare programs that have contracted
with the CPC and have begun steps towards accreditation through
the National Association for the Education of Young Children
(NAEYC)can accept families using financial scholarships from
the Children’s Collaborative.
How
do I enroll? Who should I contact for more information?
Please give us a call. We will determine if your income or
any other life factors qualify you for the CPC Program. You
can reach the Program Coordinator, Gail Fortes, at (978) 654-5080,
ext. 24, or the Program Assistant, Gladys Santiago, at ext.
