Community Relations

Sharon Shelton, Community Relations Coordinator Sharon Shelton is the agency's Community Relations Coordinator responsible for writing and editing all of the agency publications. These include the Annual Report, CTI Ink, the agency's quarterly newsletter, and CTI Updates, the agency's bi-weekly employee newsletter. Sharon also coordinates agency events like the annual Local Heroes event, the Leadership Breakfast, and the Carnival Fundraising Celebration which has evolved into CTI's largest fundraising event.

Fund Development plays a big role in the duties of the Community Relations Coordinator. Sharon prepares an Annual Appeal which is then mailed to select donors. She keeps records of all agency donations and is responsible for the stewardship of our fundraising efforts. Donations are gratefully accepted to help us fill in where government funds fall short. They may be made in person, by mail, or electronically through Network for Good .
