Children's Village at the Mill is an early care and education program for infants, toddlers and preschoolers who are fifteen months up to five years old. Children's Village integrates Head Start and Early Head Start Standards within all areas of the center. Children's Village, Lowell's only downtown child care center, is located in the historic Market Mills complex. This bright, spacious center offers a small homelike feel to 66 children from birth through five years of age. The Village recently obtained accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children. This prestigious national accreditation represents a seal of high quality.

Children's Village is licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care and is specially designed to support a creative child-centered curriculum. The Village operates as a collaborative partnership between Community Teamwork, Middlesex Community College, and the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
